MIDWEST FASTENER CORP 932607 X-Washer Split Retaining Ring 10 PK hardware

Pack of ten retaining rings

This pack contains ten X-washer split retaining rings from Midwest Fastener Corp, part number 932607. They are made of steel and sized for a half-inch shaft diameter. The rings suit automotive, industrial and general mechanical assemblies where a secure groove fit is required. Mechanics and maintenance teams can keep a ready supply for repeated repairs.

Split-ring installation limits

The split design lets you slide the ring onto the shaft without removing mating components, which speeds up field service. Each ring must seat fully in its groove to resist axial thrust; an undersized or worn groove will reduce holding power. The steel construction resists deformation but offers no corrosion coating, so exposure to moisture or chemicals shortens service life.

Upgrade from single-use fasteners

These rings replace cotter pins, E-clips or makeshift washers that must be discarded after each disassembly. The reusable split action pays off when a joint is opened frequently for bearing changes or seal replacement. If the application never comes apart again, a one-time fastener remains the simpler choice.
