What it is

The miggo Grip & Wrap is a combined wrist strap and protective wrap for mirrorless and compact system cameras. It secures to the camera's 1/4"-20 tripod mount using a steel screw that preserves the socket for tripod use. The neoprene foam rubber and Lycra construction cushions the body against bumps and scratches while a pull-string tightens the strap around the wrist. A flexible outer pocket holds a lens cap when not in use.

Mounting compatibility

The accessory attaches via a nickel-coated steel screw into the standard 1/4"-20 tripod thread on the camera base. That screw incorporates a second 1/4"-20 female thread so a tripod or quick-release plate can remain connected while the wrap is in place. It is designed for most mirrorless or compact system cameras fitted with short to medium kit lenses. Cameras lacking a standard tripod socket or using oversized grips that block the base plate cannot use this mounting method.

Materials and daily use

Neoprene foam rubber and Lycra form the wrap, giving a soft, non-slip surface that conforms to the camera body without adding bulk. The steel screw and pull-string mechanism are the only rigid components, keeping weight minimal and eliminating rattling parts. In normal handling the wrap stays quiet, adds negligible thermal insulation and draws no power. The lens-cap pocket is accessible without unwrapping the camera.
