Integrated 2.4 GHz base station with 12 dBi 120° sector antenna, 600 MHz CPU, 64 MB RAM, Gigabit Ethernet and up to 30 dBm 802.11 b/g/n output
The Mikrotik mANTBox 2 12s combines a 12 dBi 120 degree sector antenna with a built-in wireless router for 2.4 GHz networks. It uses a 600 MHz CPU and 64 MB RAM to handle routing tasks. The unit includes a Gigabit Ethernet port, a power supply and PoE support. It delivers up to 30 dBm output power for long-range links.
This integrated unit replaces a discrete sector antenna paired with an external RouterBOARD or similar radio. The jump is worth it when you want a single weatherproof enclosure that reduces cabling, alignment time and potential points of failure. Buyers who need 5 GHz operation or a narrower beamwidth should look elsewhere.
The package supplies brackets for pole installation so the sector can be aimed at the target area. A Gigabit Ethernet cable carries both data and PoE power to the device. Misalignment beyond the 120 degree coverage angle is the most common cause of weak signals. Ensure the mounting pole is vertical and the azimuth matches the intended service area.

The integrated bracket clamps directly to a standard mast or pole; no separate mount kit is required.
Enable the PoE-out setting in RouterOS before connecting the cable, otherwise the port stays inactive.
Inspect and wipe the radome every six months or after heavy storms to prevent signal loss from dirt buildup.
