Adds an RJ45 copper port to an SFP slot for 10/100/1000M links up to 100m
The Mikrotik S-RJ01 converts an SFP port to a standard RJ45 connection running at 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps. It draws power from a single +3.3 V rail and operates across a 0 °C to 85 °C case temperature range. Network engineers use it to extend copper runs up to 100 metres over unshielded twisted pair.
The module maintains up to 1.25 Gb/s bi-directional throughput under continuous load without throttling. IEEE 802.3 compliance and SFP MSA mechanical specs ensure stable signalling in compatible switches and routers. Hot-pluggable insertion allows link changes without interrupting adjacent ports.
This transceiver replaces a fibre SFP when copper cabling is already installed or preferred for short runs. It fits Cloud Core Routers, Cloud Router Switches, RB2011 and RB260GS series hardware; CRS226 and CRS210 models are not compatible. The jump is worthwhile when re-cabling with fibre is impractical.

The module operates from a single +3.3 V supply and stays within the SFP MSA power budget for copper transceivers.
It needs a networking device with a standard Gigabit SFP cage that accepts hot-pluggable modules.
CRS226 and CRS210 models are not compatible; it works with Cloud Core Routers, Cloud Router Switches, RB2011 series and RB260GS series.
