Easy Scoop II Telescoping Handle

The Miller Mfg 2300-ALU Easy Scoop II is a pet waste scoop featuring a lightweight aluminum handle that telescopes from 22 to 42 inches. A transparent polycarbonate basket with angled tines and side walls prevents spills during use. The tool is designed for durability in daily cleanup tasks. It ships directly from the manufacturer when orders meet the $75 threshold.

Suited for pet owners needing adjustable reach

This scoop suits owners who want a compact tool that extends for yard work and collapses for tight storage. The transparent basket helps users see the contents while scooping. Buyers who need a metal basket or a fixed-length handle should look at alternative designs. The product is sold individually without additional accessories included.

Fits into pet-care routines

The telescoping handle adjusts to the user's height, reducing bending during cleanup. The 7.25-inch wide basket collects waste efficiently on grass or hard surfaces. Its lightweight construction allows one-handed operation, freeing the other hand for a waste bag or leash. The tool stores vertically in a garage or shed without occupying much space.

Questions about this item

Does the Easy Scoop II require any assembly before the telescoping handle locks between 22 and 42 inches?

The scoop ships fully assembled; extend the aluminum handle until it clicks at the desired length between 22 and 42 inches and it is ready to use.

Will the 7.25-inch wide basket fit alongside the metal rake I already use for stall cleaning?

Yes, the 7.25-inch polycarbonate basket is narrow enough to work beside a standard stall rake without interference.

How can I confirm the handle is securely locked at my chosen length after setup?

Pull firmly on the handle — if it does not slide, the internal locking pin has engaged at that length.
