Verify Sweat Connection Compatibility & Pressure

Before ordering, confirm your piping uses 1-1/2 inch copper tubing suitable for sweat solder joints, as this valve does not accept threaded or flanged connections. Ensure the system operating pressure does not exceed 200 psi for water, oil, or gas, and that steam pressure remains at or below 125 psi. The non-rising stem requires sufficient vertical clearance above the valve for the handwheel to operate fully.

All-Bronze Construction with Solder Ends

The body, bonnet, stem, wedge, seat, and seal are all manufactured from bronze, offering consistent corrosion resistance across every wetted component. The screw-in bonnet style secures the internal assembly while the bronze handwheel operates the non-rising stem to raise and lower the solid wedge.
