Angle Globe Valve for Fluid and Steam
The Milwaukee Valve 504 is a 3/8 inch angle globe valve built for fluid and steam service. Its bronze body and FNPT connections suit residential and light commercial piping. Rising stem and hand-wheel operation give direct flow control. Class 125 rating defines its pressure envelope.
Pressure and Temperature Limits
Maximum fluid pressure is 200 psi while steam pressure is rated at 125 psi WSP. Fluid temperature must not exceed 353 degrees F. Air service is not rated, so the valve should not be used for compressed-air lines. These limits set the practical boundary for safe installation.
Replaces Older Globe Valves in Same Class
This valve replaces worn bronze globe valves with identical 3/8 inch FNPT ends and Class 125 rating. The upgrade is worth it when the original body shows corrosion, seat leakage or stem wear. It does not suit systems that require higher pressure classes, larger pipe sizes or air-pressure certification.

Questions about this item
Should I choose the 3/8" FNPT angle globe valve or a different size for my plumbing project?
The 3/8" FNPT angle globe valve suits piping that uses 3/8 inch female National Pipe Thread connections; verify your pipe size and thread type match before ordering.
How does the 200 psi fluid pressure rating perform in a real installation?
The bronze body handles up to 200 psi for water, oil or other fluids at temperatures up to 353 °F, so it will hold pressure in typical residential or light-commercial hot-water and steam lines.
What does the Class 125 rating limit for steam service?
Class 125 caps steam pressure at 125 psi WSP; the valve is not rated for compressed air, so use it only for fluid or steam within those limits.
