Mimosa Networks

Mimosa Networks N5-45X4 45° Sector Antenna 4.9–6.4 GHz 22 dBi 4×4 MIMO

SKU CH-KYBJ-CHZDQ

A 45° sector antenna covering 4.9–6.4 GHz with 22 dBi gain, 4×4 MIMO, dual-slant polarisation and IP55 weather protection

  • Product typeAntenna
  • Industry-leading 43 dB front-to-back ratio enables 2× spectrum reuse
  • World-class noise rejection improves link reliability
  • Beamformed 22 dBi gain extends long-distance coverage
  • Wideband 4.9–6.4 GHz operation fits fixed wireless deployments
  • Four N-female connectors support 4×4 MIMO with dual-slant polarisation

45° Sector Antenna for Fixed Wireless Broadband

This 45-degree sector antenna operates across the 4.9 to 6.4 GHz band with 22 dBi gain and dual-slant 45° polarization. It is built for fixed wireless broadband deployments using the Mimosa A5c 4x4 MIMO radio. The IP55-rated enclosure suits outdoor tower and collocation sites.

4×4 MIMO with Four N-Female Connectors

The antenna provides four N-female ports enabling 4×4 MIMO operation with the compatible radio. Beamforming adds 3 dBi to the base gain while the 42° azimuth and 9° elevation beamwidths focus coverage. A minimum 43 dB front-to-back ratio and greater than 30 dB cross-polar isolation support spectrum reuse.

Mounting Hardware Included for Tower Installation

The package supplies the brackets and hardware needed to secure the 734 mm tall antenna to a mast or tower. At 4.08 kg the unit is manageable for a single installer. No radio or cables are bundled; those must be sourced separately for a complete link.

Questions about this item

What does 22 dBi gain mean when the antenna is mounted on a tower?

The antenna focuses radio energy into a 42° azimuth and 9° elevation beam, delivering 22 dBi gain with an additional 3 dBi from beamforming when paired with a Mimosa A5c 4x4 MIMO radio, enabling long-distance fixed wireless links.

How does the 4.9–6.4 GHz wideband range affect channel planning?

The antenna covers the entire 4.9–6.4 GHz band with consistent 22 dBi gain, 43 dB front-to-back ratio and over 30 dB cross-polar isolation, allowing flexible channel selection across the band without retuning.

What mounting clearance does the 734 mm height and 76 mm depth require?

The antenna measures 734 mm high, 143 mm wide and 76 mm deep including its four N-female connectors, weighs 4.08 kg and is rated IP55 for outdoor pole or tower mounting.
