Mimosa Networks N5-X20 4.9-6.4 GHz Modular Twist-on Antenna 20 dBi 250mm Dish 2PACK

Modular Twist-on Antenna for C5x

The Mimosa Networks N5-X20 is a 250 mm modular dish antenna that raises the C5x radio's native 8 dBi gain to 20 dBi. It operates across the 4.9-6.4 GHz band and uses a twist-on mechanism for quick attachment. Each unit provides dual-slant 45 polarisation and strong sidelobe rejection to isolate noise. The pack contains two antennas for deployment at both ends of a link.

Gain Upgrade from 8 dBi to 20 dBi

The C5x radio ships with an integrated 8 dBi antenna that can be increased to 12, 16, 20, or 25 dBi by adding an N5-X module. Choosing the 20 dBi version extends range and improves link quality over the 12 dBi and 16 dBi options while keeping the dish diameter at 250 mm. The jump is worth it when the extra margin is needed for longer paths or higher interference environments without stepping up to the larger 25 dBi model.

Point-to-Point Links Needing 20 dBi Gain

These antennas suit installers building point-to-point links with Mimosa C5x radios who require 20 dBi gain and dual-slant polarisation in a 250 mm form factor. They are not for users who need the higher 25 dBi gain option or a different dish size. They are also not for operators using radios other than the C5x, as the twist-on mount and frequency optimisation are specific to that platform.
