Eight white 250 mm dish antennas with twist-on bases

Mimosa Networks

Mimosa Networks N5-X20-8PK 20 dBi 250mm Twist-on Antenna 8 Pack

SKU CH-0ZKE-C2EF3

Eight-pack of 20 dBi twist-on dish antennas extending C5x radios to 4.9-6.4 GHz with 12° beamwidth and 35 dB front-to-back rejection

  • Product typeN5-X20-8PK
  • 20 dBi gain extends C5x range for long-distance links
  • 12° symmetric beamwidth focuses signal to reduce interference
  • 35 dB front-to-back ratio rejects rear noise effectively
  • 37 dB front-to-side ratio minimises sidelobe interference
  • Twist-on modular design enables quick 250 mm dish attachment

Modular Twist-On Antenna Kit

The Mimosa N5-X20-8PK supplies eight 250 mm dish antennas that add 20 dBi gain to compatible C5x radios. Each unit covers the 4.9–6.4 GHz band with dual-slant 45° polarization. The kit is aimed at wireless ISPs and point-to-point link builders who need high-gain directional coverage in a compact form factor.

Build Integration Requirements

Antennas thread directly onto C5x radios so no extra mounting brackets or cables are required. The twist-on design frees up tower space by keeping the radio and antenna as one short assembly. Installers must verify the radio model supports the N5-X family before deployment because the dishes are not interchangeable with other Mimosa antenna lines.

Suitability and Limits

This pack suits operators deploying multiple high-gain sectors or long-range backhaul links where 12° symmetric beamwidth and 35 dB front-to-back rejection are required. Buyers needing lower gain options such as 12 or 16 dBi or wider beamwidths should select different N5-X models. The 0.77 kg weight per dish also means structural load calculations are necessary for dense arrays.

Questions about this item

What gain does each antenna in the N5-X20-8PK provide?

Each antenna in the pack delivers 20 dBi gain, raising the C5x radio from its native 8 dBi to 20 dBi for longer links.

How much does a single 250 mm dish weigh when mounted on the radio all day?

One dish weighs 0.77 kg (1.70 lbs), adding minimal load to the C5x while maintaining 35 dB front-to-back and 37 dB front-to-side rejection.

Which radio must I already own for these twist-on antennas to work?

The N5-X20 modular antennas are designed exclusively for the Mimosa C5x; they attach via the radio's native twist-on interface and cover 4.9-6.4 GHz.
