Product Purpose

The Mind Reader DDR roll-up rack is a kitchen tool for home cooks who want a compact drying surface that stores flat. It sits over a sink basin up to 16.8 inches wide, turning unused counter space into a temporary work area. Buyers with sloped sink rims or no flat ledge at least .8 inches deep should look elsewhere, as the silicone feet need a level edge to grip securely.

Capacity and Limits

The rack holds up to 80 pounds of cookware, so heavy pots and ceramic dishes rest safely without bending the aluminum rods. Its 17.7 by 13.4 inch footprint accommodates a standard wash load, but larger baking sheets or oversized roasting pans will overhang the edges. The two-tier rod layout provides airflow for drying, yet the fixed dimensions mean it cannot expand for bigger cleanup sessions.

Build and Daily Use

Aviation-grade aluminum rods weigh 13.5 ounces total and resist rust, while food-grade silicone webbing connects each rod and cushions glassware. The same silicone coating withstands 400 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing the rack to double as a trivet for hot pans. A slot can be cut in the webbing with scissors to clear a faucet, provided enough rods remain to span the sink corner. The package includes countertop-mount hardware for optional fixed installation.

Questions about this item

Will the 17.7" x 13.4" rack sit securely over my sink if I keep my existing faucet and drain layout?

The rack fits sinks up to 16.8" wide and needs a flat countertop ledge of at least .8" for the silicone ends to grip. Measure your basin width and ledge depth before installing.

How can I verify the 80 lb capacity is holding after I load it with my cast-iron cookware?

The silicone feet should stay firmly planted on the countertop without sliding. If the rack remains level and the ends do not slip into the basin, the structure is supporting the load as designed.

Does the package include any mounting brackets or tools, or do I only get the roll-up mat?

Only the single aluminum roll-up mat is included. No mounting hardware, brackets or tools are supplied; the rack rests on the countertop ledge via its silicone-coated ends.
