Compact Over-Sink Drying Rack

The Mind Reader DR-1844 is a roll-up sink rack measuring 17.5" x 15.2" designed for compact kitchens, apartments, RVs and campers. It provides a 2-tier drying area over the sink and includes a detachable cutlery basket for utensil organisation. The rack doubles as a sink cover to maximise counter space when not in use.

Check Sink Dimensions Before Ordering

Verify your sink bowl width and length against the 17.5" by 15.2" footprint to ensure the non-slip ends rest securely on the rim. The unit weighs 1.3 pounds and uses a countertop mount style with no permanent installation required. Confirm you have drawer or cabinet space to store the rolled-up rack when not deployed.

SUS304 Stainless Steel and Silicone Build

The frame uses SUS304 stainless steel with food-grade silicone rolls that withstand heat up to 550°F for use as a trivet with hot cookware. The smooth surface wipes clean and is dishwasher safe for easy maintenance. The roll-up design allows compact storage in a drawer, while the sturdy construction supports heavy pots and pans without bending.

Questions about this item

Does the roll-up rack ship with the detachable cutlery basket or must I buy it separately?

What does the 550°F heat rating mean when I set a hot pot on the rack?

The SUS304 stainless steel and food-grade silicone withstand up to 550°F, letting you place oven-hot cookware directly on the surface without damage.
