Hand-woven seagrass storage set

This two-piece set of natural seagrass baskets arrives new and includes a small and a large flat-woven bin with lids. Each piece is handmade, so colour varies slightly between units. The flat profile lets them slide onto shelves, into cabinets or under furniture. They suit anyone wanting attractive, lightweight organisation for everyday clutter.

Lids and nesting change daily use

The fitted lids conceal contents and keep dust off stored items. When empty, the smaller basket nests inside the larger one, reducing the storage footprint to the size of the single large bin. No liners, dividers or extra hardware are supplied in the package.

Flat woven construction sets capacity limits

The shallow 2.5-inch and 2.95-inch heights restrict contents to low-profile items such as cables, cosmetics, folded linens or paperwork. Heavier or taller objects will not fit, and the natural fibre is not water-resistant. Buyers needing deep bins, stackable rigid boxes or moisture-proof containers should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the hand-woven seagrass need any special care to stay in shape over time?

The natural seagrass is hand-woven and sturdy; occasional dusting with a dry cloth keeps it clean and no further maintenance is required.

What stops me from stacking more items once the lid is closed on the 13-inch basket?

The rigid lid and flat-woven walls define the storage limit; the large basket measures 13 x 11.2 x 2.95 inches so contents must stay within that height.

Do the baskets get warm or emit any smell when left on a shelf all day?

Seagrass is a natural fibre that does not generate heat or odour during normal indoor use.
