Large reusable beeswax wrap

This single-piece wrap measures 17 x 23 inches and is made from organic cotton coated with natural beeswax and jojoba oil. The self-adhesive surface forms airtight seals around bowls or directly over food using only hand warmth. It contains no plastic and is BPA-free by design.

Best for plastic-free households

Suits anyone replacing cling film with a washable, compostable alternative for cheese, bread, fruit, vegetables and packed lunches. Not microwave-safe and cannot withstand hot water or dishwasher cleaning, so buyers needing heat-resistant covers should look elsewhere.

17 x 23 inch customisable size

The generous sheet can be cut or folded to fit containers of various shapes, from large loaves to small snack portions. This flexibility decides whether the wrap matches your typical storage tasks.

Questions about this item

What does the 17 x 23 inch size actually cover in daily use?

The wrap measures about 17 x 23 inches, large enough to cover a fresh baked loaf, a bowl, or a sandwich, and can be trimmed or folded to fit smaller items.

How does the beeswax coating create an airtight seal on a container?

Warmth from your hands softens the beeswax coating so the wrap moulds to the container rim and sticks to itself, forming a tight seal that keeps food fresh.

Is the wrap safe for microwave reheating or dishwasher cleaning?

No, the wrap is not microwave safe and must not go in the dishwasher; wash only in cold water with mild soap and air dry.
