Compact Ryzen 7 Mini PC

The MINIHYPER U58 is a compact desktop built around the AMD Ryzen 7 5825U processor with 8 cores and 16 threads. It ships with 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB SSD, running Windows 11 Pro out of the box. This unit suits home-office workers, students, and media-streaming setups that need a small footprint.

DDR4 3200 and Wi-Fi 6E limits

Memory runs at DDR4 3200 in dual-channel mode and the board supports a maximum of 32GB, so the installed 8GB can be doubled or quadrupled later. Wireless connectivity uses Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.2, which depend on a compatible router and client devices to reach their rated throughput. The single M.2 slot provides one expansion path for storage.

8GB RAM and 512GB SSD headroom

The 8GB of memory handles everyday multitasking, web browsing, and 4K video playback smoothly, but heavy virtualization or large creative projects will push against that ceiling. Integrated Radeon graphics manage casual gaming and hardware-accelerated streaming, yet they lack the headroom for modern AAA titles at high settings. The 512GB SSD offers fast boot and load times, though extensive media libraries will require external drives or an internal upgrade.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 8 GB model or plan to upgrade to the 32 GB maximum?

The unit ships with 8 GB of DDR4 3200 memory and supports dual-channel expansion up to 32 GB, so you can start with the installed capacity and add modules later if workloads demand more.

What does the Ryzen 7 5825U boost of 4.5 GHz mean for everyday workloads?

The 8-core, 16-thread processor can reach 4.5 GHz on short bursts, giving snappy responsiveness for multitasking, coding, streaming and 4K playback while the integrated Radeon graphics handles casual gaming.

How fast is the Wi-Fi 6E connection in practice?

The 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6E radio paired with Bluetooth 5.2 delivers low-latency wireless throughput suitable for video calls, large file transfers and streaming without a wired Ethernet link.
