Precision 20MP Imaging

The Minolta MN40Z is a bridge camera kit for photographers who want a single device covering wide landscapes and distant subjects. It delivers 20MP still images and records 1080p Full HD video at 30 fps. The silver body includes a 3-inch LCD monitor for framing and playback.

Bundle Expands Usability

The included 64GB memory card provides immediate storage capacity for photos and video clips. A 4xAA battery set with charger powers the camera without proprietary cells. The flexible tripod, travel bag, hand strap, cleaning kit, lens cap keeper, memory card wallet and USB card reader add support, protection and transfer convenience in one package.

Zoom Range and Limits

Optical zoom reaches 40x across a 24mm to 960mm equivalent focal range, handling broad scenes and tight telephoto compression. Optical image stabilization counters shake at long focal lengths. The fixed lens design means buyers who need interchangeable optics or larger sensor performance should consider a different system type.

Questions about this item

Will the 40x optical zoom lens or 20MP sensor need periodic cleaning or replacement?

The 40x optical zoom lens benefits from the included cleaning kit and lens cap keeper to protect the glass; the 20MP sensor is sealed inside the body and does not require user servicing.

What limits continuous 1080p video recording at 30 fps on this camera?

The 64GB memory card included in the kit sets the practical storage ceiling for 1080p Full HD clips before offloading is needed.

How much heat or noise does the camera produce during all-day shooting?

The bridge-style body uses passive cooling with no fan, so operation stays silent; warmth may build after extended 1080p recording but remains within normal handling limits.
