Mist Aluminum Shower Filter 8 Stage

The Mist Aluminum Shower Filter 8 Stage is a premium filtration unit that installs between an existing shower arm and a hand-held shower mount. Its replaceable cartridge targets sediment, rust, chlorine, fluoride, iron, heavy metals, chemicals and bad odour while maintaining normal water flow. The system suits households wanting softer skin, healthier hair and stronger nails without plumbing modifications.

Thermals noise and power draw

The filter operates passively with no electrical connection, so it adds no heat, noise or power draw to the bathroom. Water passes through at a rate of 2 GPM within an operating pressure range of 20 to 125 psi and a temperature range of 40 to 120F. Cartridge life reaches 3400 gallons or six months before replacement is required.

Build quality and connectors

An antioxidant aluminum alloy casing with a stainless-steel-like finish resists corrosion and suppresses bacterial growth. The housing measures 3.25 inches in diameter and 5 inches in length, fitted with 1/2 inch threaded entry and exit valves for standard compatibility. The package includes the filter, a manual and Teflon tape for a secure, leak-free fit.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Mist shower filter between my shower arm and head, and which step is most often missed?

Wrap the supplied Teflon tape clockwise on the 1/2" threads, screw the filter between the arm and showerhead or hand-held mount, then tighten by hand only; the step most often missed is applying the tape, which prevents leaks at the 1/2" connections.

What replacement does the filter need and how often?

The replaceable cartridge lasts 3,400 gallons or six months, whichever comes first; replacement cartridges are sold separately and must be swapped to maintain chlorine, fluoride, heavy-metal and odor removal.

At what pressure does the filter reach its operating limit during sustained use?

The maximum operating pressure is 125 psi; sustained pressure above this level exceeds the rated limit and can damage the housing or cause leaks.
