Brass Drive Pin Punch Set

The Mitutoyo 985-120 supplies eight brass drive pin punches for removing pins and rivets from metal and steel components. Brass construction prevents damage to softer workpieces during extraction tasks. The set covers tip sizes from 1/16 to 5/16 inch with an overall length of 4 inches. Supplied in a pouch without a handle or handguard.

Automotive and metalwork technicians

Technicians who need non-marring brass tips for delicate pin removal will find this set suitable. Buyers requiring an integrated handle or handguard for striking protection should look elsewhere. The plain grip style offers no tether attachment point for working at height. Sets with different tip profiles or larger piece counts are not addressed by this product.

Eight-piece brass tip assortment

This set provides exactly eight drive pin punches in brass material with SAE measurement. The piece count and brass composition are the primary factors for deciding if this kit matches the required non-sparking or non-marring application. No other specifications determine suitability for the intended pin-driving tasks.
