This 54 by 75 inch mattress combines 1.5 inches of gel-infused memory foam with 4.5 inches of dense polyurethane foam for a 6 inch profile. The CertiPUR-US certified materials are made without formaldehyde, mercury or prohibited flame retardants. A stretch-knit zipper cover removes for cleaning and the compressed roll fits through tight doorways.

Cooling Limits of Open-Cell Foam

Open-cell ventilation and gel infusion move heat away from the surface, yet the mattress still relies on passive airflow rather than active cooling. In warm rooms or under heavy bedding the foam can retain enough warmth to feel neutral instead of cool.
