Questions about this item

How do I set up the Convene chaise when it arrives pre-assembled, and what step do people often miss?

The chaise ships pre-assembled, so simply position it on a level surface; the step people miss is checking that all four adjustable backrest positions from 17 to 37.5 inches lock securely before sitting.

What maintenance will the synthetic rattan weave and powder-coated aluminum frame need over time?

Rinse the frame and weave with mild soap and water periodically; machine-wash the cushion covers on a gentle cycle and air-dry them to maintain the 24 kg/m³ cushion density and UV resistance.

At what point does the 2-inch cushion thickness become the comfort limit during sustained lounging?

After several hours the 2-inch seat and back cushions at 24 kg/m³ density compress enough that the 15.5-inch seat height feels firm, signalling the cushion limit before the frame or weave shows wear.
