Journey 24" Swing Arm Wall Sconce

This mid-century modern wall lamp features a powder-coated metal backplate and a matte shade on a satin brass rod. It mounts to the wall and provides adjustable lighting for living rooms, bedrooms, or hallways. The 24-inch swing arm and swivel shade allow you to direct light exactly where it is needed.

Suits owners wanting flexible plug-in

The fixture works as a plug-in light with a clear cord and on/off switch, or it can be hardwired for a cordless look. Professional installation is required for the hardwire option. Buyers who need an integrated dimmer switch or a bulb included in the box should look at other models.

Takes one E26 bulb up to 40W maximum

The socket accepts a standard E26 base lamp with a maximum rating of 40 watts. LED equivalents are fully compatible and can be used with external dimmer switches. Assembly is required before mounting the sconce to the wall.

Questions about this item

Does the 40 W maximum bulb generate noticeable heat when the sconce runs all day?

The fixture accepts one E26 bulb up to 40 W; using an LED equivalent keeps heat low while providing the same light output.

What wiring must already exist in the wall for the hardwire option to work?

A standard junction box with live, neutral and ground conductors is required; professional installation is recommended for the hardwire configuration.

Will the clear power cord and on/off switch clash with vintage brass fixtures I already have?

The satin brass rod and matte shade complement traditional brass hardware, while the clear cord remains visually neutral against most wall colours.
