Riverside Armless Chair for Outdoor Use

The Modway Riverside armless chair is built for patios, balconies, decks and poolside areas. Its powder-coated aluminium frame and all-weather UV-resistant fabric cushions suit homeowners who want durable seating that fits a coastal aesthetic. The piece arrives fully assembled, so it is ready to place in any outdoor setting immediately.

Practical Limits of the Design

The chair supports up to 300 lbs and measures 29.5"L x 26.5"W x 28"H overall. The seat sits at 17"H with a depth of 26.5"L x 26.5"W, while the backrest rises 11"H above the seat. Cushions are 4" thick. The armless profile means it cannot be used as a standalone armchair and must be paired with other Riverside sectional modules for a complete seating group.

Easy Setup with One Caveat

Because the unit ships fully assembled, there is no hardware to fit or tools required — simply unbox and position it. The only common issue is the 14 lb weight combined with the open slatted back, which can make the chair awkward to carry through narrow doorways or up stairs by a single person. Foot caps are included to protect decking surfaces.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the armless chair alone or combine it with other Riverside sectional pieces?

The armless chair measures 29.5"L x 26.5"W x 28"H and seats at 17"H, so it works as a standalone seat or connects with other Riverside modules to build a larger sectional layout.

What does the 300 lb weight capacity mean for everyday use?

The powder-coated aluminum frame is rated for 300 lbs, supporting an average adult comfortably; the chair itself weighs 14 lbs, so it stays stable yet remains light enough to rearrange.

How does the powder-coated aluminum frame hold up outdoors?

The powder coating resists corrosion and UV damage, while the all-weather fabric cushions repel moisture and fading, letting the chair stay outside season after season.
