Riverside Outdoor Armchair

The Modway Furniture Riverside armchair is a powder-coated aluminum chair with all-weather fabric cushions designed for patios, balconies, decks and poolside areas. It arrives fully assembled as part of a sectional sofa series for immediate outdoor seating.

All-Weather Frame and Cushions

The powder-coated aluminum frame resists corrosion while the UV-resistant fabric cushions withstand sun and rain exposure. Plush 4" thick cushions provide comfort without retaining moisture during normal outdoor use.

300 lb Weight Capacity

The chair supports up to 300 lbs for single-person seating. Buyers needing higher capacity or multi-person configurations should consider the broader sectional series instead.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the Riverside armchair and what step do people often miss?

The chair arrives fully assembled, so no tools or assembly are required. The step people miss is checking that all four foot caps are firmly pressed onto the splayed legs before placing the chair on the patio.

What maintenance or replacement will the cushions need over time?

The 4" thick all-weather UV-resistant fabric cushions should be cleaned periodically with mild soap and water, then air-dried. If the fabric fades or the foam loses resilience after several seasons, replacement cushion covers or inserts can be sourced to match the 26.5"L x 26.5"W seat dimensions.

What is the first limit I will hit if the chair is used continuously at its maximum load?

The frame is rated for a 300 lbs weight capacity. Sustained use at or near that limit will stress the powder-coated aluminum joints and splayed legs before any other component shows wear.
