THX Ultra Certified Tower Speaker

The Monolith THX-465T is a floor-standing speaker engineered for home theatre enthusiasts who demand reference-level accuracy. It carries THX Ultra certification, confirming that its frequency response, dispersion and distortion meet strict performance standards for large listening spaces.

Upfiring Dolby Atmos Driver

An integrated upfiring driver adds overhead effects for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X soundtracks without requiring separate ceiling modules. The cabinet uses high-density fibreboard construction and houses four 6.5 woofers, a cloth dome midrange and a silk dome tweeter arranged behind a sophisticated crossover network.

Requires External Amplification

As a passive loudspeaker, the THX-465T must be paired with a compatible multi-channel receiver or processor capable of driving its load. Buyers who want a self-powered solution or a compact bookshelf form factor will need a different product type.

Questions about this item

Does the THX-465T use a standard speaker-level interface for the Dolby Atmos upfiring driver?

The upfiring Dolby Atmos driver connects via the same speaker-level terminals as the main tower drivers, requiring no separate interface or module.

What are the cabinet dimensions and mounting requirements for the THX-465T tower?

The tower stands on its integrated base with four 6.5" woofers; no wall bracket or external mounting hardware is needed for floor placement.

How do I wire the THX-465T for Dolby Atmos height channels, and what is the common mistake?

Connect the single pair of binding posts to your receiver's front left/right outputs; the internal crossover routes the Atmos signal to the upfiring driver — do not run separate height-channel wires to the tower.
