Ideal speaker placement

These Monoprice floor stands raise satellite speakers away from walls so rear ports can operate correctly. Height adjusts from 26.8 to 43.3 inches to match seated ear level. Each stand supports up to 5 lbs. The pair suits home-cinema or stereo listeners who want proper imaging without wall mounting.

Flexible mounting and cable routing

Speakers attach via a standard 1/4 x 20 screw or keyhole slot, fitting most compact models. Hollow tubes conceal speaker wires for a tidy run to the amplifier. No tools beyond a screwdriver are required for assembly. The stands free up shelf space and remove the need for furniture-top placement.

Stable support for extended listening

Steel construction weighs 9.52 lbs per pair, giving a low centre of gravity that resists accidental knocks during long sessions. Adjustable spikes or feet keep the base level on carpet or hard floors. The fixed-height locking collar prevents gradual slip under continuous vibration. Buyers needing heavier speaker capacity or wall-mounted surrounds should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much weight can each stand hold before it becomes unstable?

Each stand supports satellite speakers up to 5 lbs, so the practical limit is the speaker weight you place on it.

Do the hollow tubes transmit motor noise or heat when the speakers run all day?

The stands are passive metal tubes with no moving parts, so they add no noise, heat or power draw of their own.

Will my speakers attach if they only have a keyhole slot and no 1/4"-20 thread?

Yes, the brackets accept either a standard 1/4"-20 mounting screw or a keyhole mount, so both attachment types work.
