75 ft USB 3.1 Type-C video cable

This active optical cable connects a USB Type-C computer to a USB Type-C display at distances up to 75 feet. It transmits 4K resolution at 60 Hz with support for over one billion colours. The cable carries video only and does not transport data or power. Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion for long-term reliability.

Sustained 4K signal over fibre optics

Optical fibre replaces copper for the high-speed video path, so the 3840x2160p 60 Hz signal remains stable across the full 75 ft length without external boosters. The active circuitry draws minimal power from the host port and maintains consistent throughput during extended sessions. No signal degradation or frame drops occur as the cable warms up.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The slim fibre construction produces no audible noise and stays cool to the touch because the optical medium generates negligible heat. Power consumption is low enough that no external adapter is required; the cable operates entirely from the host USB Type-C port. Connectors remain at ambient temperature even after hours of continuous 4K@60 Hz transmission.

Questions about this item

Does this 75 ft active optical cable generate heat or draw noticeable power when running 4K 60 Hz video all day?

The SlimRun AV design uses optical fiber instead of copper for high-speed signals, so the cable itself produces no heat and needs no external power while transmitting 4K 60 Hz HDR video.

What must my computer and monitor each provide for this cable to work?

Both devices need a USB Type-C port that supports video output or input; the cable carries only video and does not supply power or data.

Will this 138580 cable drive a 4K 60 Hz display reliably alongside an older 1080p monitor on the same GPU?

Yes, the cable transmits 3840x2160p at 60 Hz up to 100 ft, so a 75 ft run to a 4K 60 Hz display works independently of any other connected monitor.
