Bidirectional USB‑C to DisplayPort Cable

This cable links a USB‑C source to a DisplayPort display or a DisplayPort source to a USB‑C display using a single cord. It suits anyone who moves between laptops, tablets, phones and desktop monitors and wants one cable that works in either direction.

4K60Hz video headroom

The cable carries up to 4K resolution at 60Hz, which covers typical office work, video streaming and many gaming scenarios. Bandwidth limits mean higher refresh rates or resolutions beyond 4K60 are not supported, so competitive esports setups or multi‑monitor 5K arrays will need a different link.

Braided jacket and plug‑and‑play operation

A cotton‑nylon braided jacket and zinc‑alloy shells with nickel‑plated connectors add physical durability and corrosion resistance. No driver installation is required, and both mirror and extended desktop modes work immediately, simplifying presentations and multi‑task setups.

Questions about this item

Will the 147724 cable work with my older DisplayPort 1.2 monitor when connected from a USB‑C laptop?

Yes, the cable supports up to 4K at 60Hz and is backward compatible with earlier DisplayPort versions, so a DP 1.2 monitor will operate at its native resolution and refresh rate.

How can I verify the cable is delivering 4K60 after I plug it in?

Open your operating system display settings and confirm the external monitor is running at its maximum resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate; the cable is plug‑and‑play with no drivers required.

Does the 147724 include any adapters or do I need to buy a separate USB‑C power adapter?

The box contains only the 3ft bidirectional USB‑C to DisplayPort cable with nickel‑plated connectors and a braided jacket; no adapters or power supplies are included or required for video operation.
