Truss Scrim for 8in Boxed Truss

The Monoprice 625861 is a white lycra cover designed for 8in boxed truss segments measuring 1.5m (4.92ft). It provides a clean, professional appearance for weddings, trade shows, and mobile DJ gigs. The scrim fits Stage Right series truss totems or towers.

Stretch Fabric Behaviour Under Tension

Lycra construction delivers consistent stretch across the full 1.5m length for a tight, refined fit that resists sagging during extended events. The material maintains its shape without wrinkling when left mounted for multi-day trade shows or festival runs. Weight of 1.31 units keeps the scrim stable on vertical totem installations.

Passive Thermal and Noise Profile

The fabric adds no active cooling requirement, draws zero power, and produces no operational noise. It allows convective airflow around truss-mounted fixtures while concealing cables and hardware. Surface wipes clean between events without special solvents or downtime.

Questions about this item

Does the 1.31 kg scrim add noticeable weight or wind load to a truss tower running all day?

At 1.31 kg the white lycra scrim adds minimal weight and its stretch fabric reduces wind resistance compared to solid panels, so heat and structural load stay low during extended use.

What truss components must I already own for the 1.5 m scrim to fit?

The scrim is sized for 8 in boxed truss segments of 1.5 m length, so you need matching 8 in box truss sections or totem pieces of that span.

Will the 1.5 m white scrim cover older 8 in box truss sections from the same series without gaps?

Yes, it is made to match all Stage Right 8 in boxed truss segments including 1 m, 1.5 m and 2 m lengths, so existing pieces of the same profile will fit.
