Cyberdata 011472 IP66 Outdoor Horn

The Cyberdata 011472 is an IP66-rated outdoor horn designed for Singlewire InformaCast paging systems. It serves facilities that need loud, intelligible voice alerts in exposed environments such as campuses, industrial yards or transportation hubs.

PoE-powered installation with network configuration

The unit receives power and data over a single Ethernet cable, so no separate mains supply is required at the mounting point. Installation typically involves securing the horn to a wall or pole, connecting the cable, then assigning the device in the InformaCast server; the main issues arise when VLAN or QoS settings block multicast traffic, preventing the horn from registering or playing announcements.

High-output coverage for large open areas

The horn delivers high sound-pressure levels suitable for wide outdoor zones, ensuring messages remain clear across parking lots, loading docks or sports fields. In very noisy industrial settings or at extreme distances the output may be insufficient, and the product does not support local audio inputs or standalone operation without the InformaCast infrastructure.
