Monoprice Inc. 011489 Informacast Outdoor RGB Multi Color Strobe video accessory

Informacast Outdoor RGB Strobe

The Monoprice Informacast Outdoor RGB Multi Color Strobe is an audio/video accessory designed for exterior installations. It integrates with Informacast paging systems to deliver visual alerts alongside audio broadcasts. The device suits schools, campuses or industrial sites that require synchronised notification signals. Its rugged construction supports outdoor mounting in exposed locations.

Upgrade from single-colour beacons

This strobe replaces legacy single-colour or single-pattern beacons that cannot convey multiple alert states. The RGB array lets administrators assign distinct colours to different emergency types such as lockdown, fire or severe weather. The jump is worth it when an existing Informacast infrastructure needs richer visual signalling without adding separate fixtures. Installation uses the same network backbone already in place.

Facilities using Informacast paging

The unit suits facilities that already run Informacast software and want unified audio-visual alerts across outdoor zones. It is not for sites lacking an Informacast server or those needing standalone battery-operated beacons. Buyers who want more storage or builders who need a second card should look at other product categories. Integration depends on the existing notification platform.
