Purpose-built cable

Build integration

The 3 ft length suits tight desk runs or dock‑to‑laptop connections without excess slack. Backward compatibility with Thunderbolt 3 and 4, USB 3.2 and USB 2.0 lets it slot into existing ports while freeing up separate power bricks and display cables.

Accessory impact

The braided jacket adds durability and tangle resistance for daily plug‑unplug cycles. Combined with 8K HDR video support and USB Power Delivery 3.1, the cable replaces multiple specialised leads in creative and high‑end gaming workflows.

Questions about this item

Will the 40Gbps data rate hold up during long transfers without throttling?

The cable is rated for 40Gbps USB4 speeds and its braided jacket is designed for sustained performance, so the bandwidth limit should not be reached under normal sustained use.

Does the cable get hot or draw extra power when delivering 240W all day?

The cable supports USB Power Delivery 3.1 Extended Power Range up to 240W and is built with a braided jacket for durability, but it does not generate heat itself — heat depends on the charger and devices at each end.

Do I need a USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4 port on both devices for this cable to work?

The cable is backward compatible with USB 3.2 and USB 2.0, so it will function with older USB-C ports, but 40Gbps data and 240W charging require USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4 hosts and devices.
