Black XLR male-to-female audio cable coiled 35ft 16AWG

Monoprice Inc.

Monoprice Premier Series XLR Male to XLR Female 35ft Black 16AWG accessory

SKU CH-8QPY-DXG6N

Balanced XLR cable with gold-plated 16AWG copper conductors reduces EM and RF noise over 35ft runs

  • Balanced lines reduce EM and RF noise for cleaner audio
  • Separate braided shield adds interference resistance without signal modulation
  • Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion for reliable long-term contact
  • 16AWG copper conductors deliver strong signal over extended runs
  • 35ft length suits stage and studio microphone placement

35ft balanced audio cable

The Monoprice Premier Series cable carries a balanced signal from a male XLR plug to a female XLR socket across a thirty-five foot run. It is built for microphones and line-level interconnects in studio or stage environments where a long, clean connection is required.

Sustained interference rejection

Impedance-balanced conductors reduce electromagnetic and radio-frequency noise over the full cable length. A separate braided shield adds a second layer of rejection without coupling the picked-up interference back into the signal path during extended use.

Gold-plated connectors and 16AWG conductors

Gold plating on the XLR contacts resists oxidation for reliable mating over many insertions. The 16AWG copper conductors keep resistance low across the distance, while the black jacket protects the assembly from everyday handling and routing.

Questions about this item

Will the 16AWG copper conductors run warm or draw noticeable power during long recording sessions?

The cable is a passive balanced interconnect with 16AWG copper conductors, so it generates no heat and draws no power of its own.

What connectors must my microphone and interface already have for this 35ft cable to plug straight in?

One end needs a standard XLR male input and the other a standard XLR female input; the cable provides the matching XLR male-to-female connection.

Can I keep using my older dynamic mic and vintage preamp with this balanced XLR cable without impedance issues?

Yes, the impedance-balanced design and separate braided shield work with legacy dynamic microphones and older preamps, reducing EM and RF noise without altering the signal.
