Compact Hard Case with Pluck Foam

The MOOCY MO9096 is a small waterproof plastic case measuring 8.6 x 4.9 x 1.9 inches externally and 7.8 x 3.9 x 1.5 inches internally. It weighs .78 lbs and includes pre-cut pluck foam cubes for customising the interior layout. Built-in padlock holes allow the case to be locked for added security during transport or storage.

Suits EDC gear and small tools; not for larger kits

This case fits pocket knives, batteries, flashlights, micro tools and glass testing equipment in backpacks, kayak hatches or cycling bags. The sealed design protects contents from moisture, dust and impact in wet environments. Buyers who need space for bulkier equipment or multiple larger devices should look at larger protective cases.

Interior depth of 1.5 inches

The usable internal depth is 1.5 inches, which determines what items can be stored after the foam is configured. Items thicker than this will not allow the lid to close and seal properly. Check the height of your gear against this measurement before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 8.6 x 4.9 x 1.9 inch case or a larger model for my EDC gear?

The 8.6 x 4.9 x 1.9 inch exterior with 7.8 x 3.9 x 1.5 inch interior fits pocket knives, batteries and small tools; choose a larger model only if your items exceed those interior dimensions.

How much space will my flashlight and batteries actually have inside the 7.8 x 3.9 x 1.5 inch cavity?

The 7.8 x 3.9 x 1.5 inch interior holds typical EDC flashlights and battery sets; pluck foam cubes let you carve exact recesses so nothing shifts during transport.

Does the IP-rated seal and padlock holes meet airline carry-on security rules?

The sealed waterproof design and built-in padlock holes secure contents against moisture and unauthorised access; the 8.6 x 4.9 x 1.9 inch size fits most airline personal-item allowances.
