4.5" bi-metal hole saw cuts stainless steel, machinable metals, wood and plastic with aggressive positive rake teeth and a side slot for easier slug removal
The Morse MHS72 is a 4.5 inch (114 mm) diameter bi-metal hole saw built for general purpose cutting. It handles stainless steel, machinable metals, wood and plastic in a single tool. An aggressive positive rake tooth profile helps the saw penetrate material easier and faster. A separate arbor such as the MA35PSN or MA45PSN is required for operation.
The unique side slot design increases leverage access for various material thicknesses and eases slug removal during use. This feature reduces binding and helps maintain steady cutting progress without excessive force. Applying Morse CUTLUBE can further optimise performance and extend the life of the cutting teeth. One hole saw is supplied per box.
No arbor or lubricant is included with the hole saw itself. Buyers must source a compatible MA35PSN or MA45PSN arbor separately to mount the tool. Morse CUTLUBE is also sold separately for those who want to optimise cutting performance. The product is restricted from sale in certain states as noted by the supplier.

A separate arbor is required — use the MA35PSN (139052) or MA45PSN (139069). The step people miss is fitting the correct arbor before mounting the saw on the pneumatic tool.
The bi-metal teeth will dull with use; replace the saw when cutting speed drops. For longer life, apply Morse CUTLUBE (121408) during operation and clear the slug via the side slot after each hole.
Heat buildup in the teeth is the first limit; aggressive positive-rake teeth cut fast but generate heat. Using Morse CUTLUBE (121408) and pausing to let the saw cool extends continuous run time.
