2-5/8" Carbide Grit Hole Saw

The Morse MHSG42 is a 67mm diameter hole saw with a carbide grit edge built for hard or abrasive materials. It cuts cinder block, cast iron, unglazed ceramics, fiberglass and composites. A gulleted cutting edge clears chips while a side slot eases slug removal. One saw is supplied per box.

Replaces standard bi-metal saws

Trade up when cutting materials that dull conventional teeth such as cast iron, block or composite panels. The carbide grit resists wear on abrasive surfaces where bi-metal strips fail quickly. A separate Morse arbor (MA35PSNCT or MA45PSNCT) is required and must be purchased separately.

For abrasive-material cutting

Suits electricians, plumbers and contractors boring holes in block, iron, ceramic or composite. Not suited for wood, plastic or thin sheet metal where a toothed bi-metal saw cuts faster. Buyers who need an arbor included or who primarily cut soft materials should choose a different saw.
