Cuts 2.75 inch holes in abrasive materials using a carbide grit edge for durability
The Morse MHSG44 is a 2.75 inch (70mm) diameter hole saw with a carbide grit cutting edge. It is built for tradespeople cutting hard or abrasive materials such as cinder block, cast iron, unglazed ceramics, fiberglass and composites.
This hole saw requires a separate Morse arbor, specifically the MA35PSNCT (139830) or MA45PSNCT (139847) models. A gulleted cutting edge provides chip clearance during the cut, while a unique side slot improves leverage for slug removal across various material thicknesses.
The carbide grit edge is the single specification that determines suitability; it enables cutting of hard, abrasive substrates that destroy conventional bi-metal teeth. Buyers needing clean holes in wood, plastic or thin sheet metal should select a different tooth geometry.

The MHSG44 is the only 2.75" (70 mm) diameter model listed, so choose this one when you need that exact hole size.
It produces a finished hole of 2-3/4 inches (70 mm) in hard or abrasive materials such as cast iron, cinder block, fiberglass and unglazed ceramics.
Use Morse MA35PSNCT (139830) or MA45PSNCT (139847); the separate arbor requirement means the hole saw cannot operate without one of those two arbors.
