1966 GMC C1000 Fenderside Pickup

This 1/24 scale diecast model replicates the 1966 GMC C1000 Fenderside Pickup in silver metallic finish. It is an officially licensed collectible aimed at adult hobbyists and display enthusiasts. The model features true-to-scale detailing throughout its interior and exterior. Opening hood and doors reveal the cabin and engine bay.

Diecast construction with opening parts

The body uses diecast metal with selective plastic components for detail work. Real rubber tyres complete the rolling chassis. No batteries or assembly are required, so the model sits directly on a shelf or in a display case. The manufacturer ships it in original unopened packaging that may vary visually.

7.75 by 3.75 by 2.75 inch footprint

At approximately 7.75 inches long, 3.75 inches wide and 2.75 inches high, the model occupies a modest display area. The fixed 1/24 scale limits compatibility with other scale ranges. Collectors needing larger or smaller replicas will need a different scale entirely.

Questions about this item

How fragile are the opening hood and doors on the 1/24 scale diecast truck during repeated handling?

The hood and doors are designed to open for display but the hinges are small diecast parts; treat them gently to avoid stress fractures.

Does the model generate any heat or noise when left on a shelf for long periods?

It is a static diecast collectible with no electronics, batteries or moving mechanisms, so it produces no heat and makes no sound.

Are the real rubber tyres mounted on the diecast wheels or do they need separate rims?

The rubber tyres come factory-fitted to the diecast wheels; the model arrives fully assembled in its original unopened packaging.
