Questions about this item

How do I plug the 2.5 mm jack into my Talkabout T600 and secure the in-line microphone?

Insert the single 2.5 mm plug firmly into the radio's accessory port until it clicks, then run the cable inside your shirt and clip the microphone to your collar or lapel so the PTT button sits where your fingers can find it without looking.

Which part will wear out first and need replacing on the 53727 earbud?

The soft plush ear tip will degrade with daily use and should be swapped for a fresh tip when it loses its seal or comfort; the cable and PTT button are built for longer service.

How long can I hold the push-to-talk button on the 53727 before the radio's duty cycle limits transmission?

Talkabout radios typically enforce a maximum continuous transmit time of about one minute; after that the radio will beep and stop transmitting until you release and press the PTT again.
