This seven-foot USB cable connects Motorola and Symbol scanners directly to a host terminal without an intermediate cradle. It suits retailers, warehouses and service counters that need a tidy wired link for hands-free or handheld readers. The straight, non-shielded design keeps routing simple in fixed-mount setups. Compatible units include the LS9203, LS9208, LS7808, LS1203, LS2208, LS4208, LS4278 and DS6700 models.

Host-Powered Simplicity

The cable draws operating power from the host USB port, so most installations do not need an external supply. It fits CR0078-SC cradles except FIPS 3578 variants, freeing a power outlet at each checkout lane. When the host stays on, connected 4278 or 6878 scanners charge automatically through the same link. Removing the extra brick reduces cable clutter and points of failure.

Seven-Foot Reach

At seven feet the lead spans typical counter depths and under-counter routing paths while leaving slack for scanner movement. It covers standard lane widths and freestanding kiosk mounts without stretching. Very wide lanes or ceiling-mounted scanner arms may exceed the usable length, so measure the run before ordering.
