Charging Cradle for MC65 MC55 MC67

The Motorola CRD5500-1000UR is a single-slot charging and USB communications cradle built for MC65, MC55, MC55A, and MC67 handheld computers. It provides a dedicated docking station for enterprise workers who need reliable device charging and data synchronisation during shift changes or at a fixed workstation.

Single Device Plus Spare Battery Slot

The cradle charges one handheld terminal and a spare battery simultaneously, ensuring a backup power source is always ready for continuous operation. It does not support multi-device gang charging or Ethernet connectivity, limiting deployment to individual desk or countertop use.

Power Supply and USB Cable Included

The kit ships with the required power supply assembly, AC line cord, and USB cable so the station is operational immediately. No additional cables or power adapters need to be sourced separately for standard USB ActiveSync communication with a host computer.

Questions about this item

Will the CRD5500-1000UR charge my MC65 and MC67 at the same time?

The cradle has one device slot and a separate spare battery slot, so only one handheld charges at a time.

How do I confirm the USB sync is active after I dock the MC55A?

When the MC55A is seated, the host computer will enumerate a new COM port and ActiveSync or your MDM software will show a connected status.

Does the box include the AC line cord and USB cable for the MC67?

Yes, the kit ships with the power supply assembly, AC line cord and USB cable — nothing else is required for charging and sync.
