Handheld 3190 RF terminal for warehouse scanning

The Motorola MC3190-GI4H04E0A is a rugged handheld computer built for inventory and logistics teams that need reliable 2D and 1D barcode capture. Its integrated 48-key alphanumeric keypad and 3-inch colour touch screen let workers enter data quickly in noisy or gloved conditions. Windows CE 6.0 provides a familiar embedded platform for custom supply-chain applications. Bluetooth and 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi keep the device connected to backend systems across large facilities.

Sustained shift performance with extended battery

The Marvell PXA320 processor running at 624 MHz handles continuous scanning and screen updates without thermal throttling during long shifts. 256 MB of RAM and 1 GB of flash storage keep the operating system and local databases responsive when multiple apps run simultaneously. An extended-capacity lithium-ion battery supports full-day operation without mid-shift swaps. The SD/MMC slot allows additional storage for logs or map data when network coverage drops.

320 x 320 screen resolution drives app compatibility

The square 320 by 320 pixel display determines whether legacy Windows CE applications render correctly without scrolling or scaling artefacts. Software written for this exact resolution will fit the 3-inch panel natively, while apps designed for wider or taller screens may require rewriting. Verify your warehouse management suite targets 320 x 320 before deployment. No CF card slot is present, so all expansion uses the single SD/MMC interface.

Questions about this item

How much power does the Marvell PXA320 at 624 MHz draw during continuous scanning all day?

The 624 MHz Marvell PXA320 is a low-power mobile processor; combined with the Li-ion extended-capacity battery it supports full-shift operation without active cooling.

Which accessories are essential because the unit ships without them?

A charger is not included and must be purchased separately; the SD/MMC slot accepts standard cards for extra storage or software loads.

Can the 802.11a/b/g radio and Bluetooth coexist with legacy 802.11b handhelds on the same network?

Yes, the 802.11a/b/g radio negotiates down to legacy rates while Bluetooth handles peripheral links, so older devices remain compatible.
