What the moto g (2025) delivers

The Motorola moto g (2025) is a prepaid 5G smartphone with 128 GB storage and 4 GB RAM. It runs Android 15 on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor clocked up to 2.40 GHz. The 6.7 inch LCD shows 1604 x 720 resolution at a 120 Hz refresh rate. Buyers who need more RAM or internal storage should look elsewhere.

Display and audio upgrades

A 6.7 inch HD+ panel reaches higher brightness for outdoor visibility. Dual stereo speakers support Dolby Atmos for wider sound. The 50 MP main camera uses Quad Pixel technology for better low-light capture. No wireless charging, no ultra-wide lens, and no optical zoom are included.

Setup and common issues

Insert the SIM, power on, and follow the Android 15 prompts. The box contains the phone, a USB-C cable, and a charger. Some users report the single bottom speaker can be blocked in landscape. The plastic frame scratches easily without a case.

Questions about this item

Will the 50 MP camera sensor need replacement after heavy daily use?

The 50 MP sensor is fixed to the mainboard and not user-replaceable; if it fails the phone requires professional board-level repair.

What limits the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 during long gaming sessions at 120 Hz?

Sustained 120 Hz rendering on the 6.7" 1604 x 720 panel will hit the SoC thermal ceiling first, causing clock throttling on the Cortex-A76 cores.

How hot and loud does the handset get when 5G and the stereo speakers run all day?

The chassis warms noticeably around the Dimensity 6300 and the dual speakers reach high volume, but there is no fan so audible noise stays at zero.
