Two-Way Radio Bundle for Industrial Teams

This bundle supplies two Motorola RMU2040 UHF radios plus swivel earpieces with in-line microphones and push-to-talk buttons. It is built for crews in security, maintenance, distribution and construction who need reliable voice coordination across a large site. The radios ship ready to use with batteries, drop-in chargers, holsters and cleaning accessories included.

99 UHF Channels with 219 Privacy Codes

Each radio operates on 99 business-exclusive UHF frequencies and supports 219 PL/DPL codes, six of which are customisable for clearer channel separation. The 1500 mW speaker delivers loud audio for high-noise floors, while the 250,000 square-foot coverage rating defines the practical range limit in typical indoor or campus environments.

Drop-In Charging and Hands-Free Accessories

The package includes two drop-in tray chargers, power supplies and belt holsters so both units can stay powered through a full shift. Swivel earpieces free the user’s hands for tools or paperwork while keeping communications private. No display or keypad means simpler operation and fewer points of failure in dusty or wet conditions.

Questions about this item

Will the RMU2040 work with my existing UHF radios that use PL or DPL codes?

Yes. The RMU2040 operates on 99 UHF business-exclusive frequencies and supports 219 PL/DPL codes, including six customizable codes, so it can match the channel and privacy settings of compatible radios already in use.

How can I confirm the 1500 mW speaker is delivering clear audio in a noisy shop?

After setup, transmit a test call in the loudest area; the built-in 1500 mW speaker should produce intelligible voice without feedback, and the HKLN4604 earpiece should relay the same audio directly to the ear.

What ships in the 2-pack bundle and what must I purchase separately?

The bundle includes two RMU2040 radios, two HKLN4604 swivel earpieces with in-line mic and PTT, two lithium-ion batteries, two drop-in tray chargers, two holsters, two power supplies, a microphone cleaner, two microfiber cloths, and six assorted color straps; no additional accessories are required for basic operation.
