UHF Coverage and Channel Flexibility

Two-watt output provides reliable reach across up to 20 floors or 250000 square feet of workspace. The radios operate on 99 UHF business-exclusive frequencies and are FCC narrowband ready. Four channels are available for communication groups, though only two channels are activated out of the box. Additional channels can be enabled through HTML-based customer programming software.

Questions about this item

How long will the 15-hour lithium-ion battery last during a full shift?

The included 15-hour lithium-ion battery is designed to power the radio through extended work periods, and each unit comes with a single-unit charger for overnight recharging.

Does the 2-watt output cause the handset to get hot or noisy during all-day use?

The 2-watt UHF radio is built for heavy-duty daily operation with a rugged design that manages heat passively, and it has no internal fan to generate noise.

Are the 99 UHF frequencies ready to use, or do I need programming equipment to activate them?

The radios ship on factory default UHF frequencies with 2 of 4 channels active; the remaining channels and the full 99-frequency list require the HTML-based customer programming software and a compatible cable.
