Four-pack UHF radios for team use

This set supplies four Motorola RMU2040 two-way radios operating on UHF frequencies. Each unit ships with a single-unit charger, a 15 hour lithium-ion battery pack and a swivel belt holster. The pack is ready for immediate deployment across a work crew.

UHF range limited by obstacles and power

UHF signals penetrate building interiors better than VHF but still lose strength through dense walls or steel structures. The fixed transmit power on these radios caps the reliable outdoor distance, so users in sprawling sites or multi-storey buildings should plan for repeaters or expect dead zones.

Questions about this item

Should I buy the four-pack or look for single units?

The four-pack gives you four complete radios, each with its own charger, 15 hour lithium ion battery and swivel belt holster, ready for a team out of the box.

What does the 15 hour battery rating mean during a full work shift?

The 15 hour lithium ion pack is designed to last through a typical long shift on a single charge, so each radio stays active without mid-day battery swaps.
