Questions about this item

How much indoor coverage does the 250,000 sq. ft. range figure actually give me?

The radios are rated for up to 250,000 sq. ft. or 20 floors inside a building, though walls and steel structure will reduce the usable distance.

What does the IP54/55 rating on the RMU2080d protect against in daily use?

IP54/55 means the housing resists limited dust ingress and water jets from any direction, so rain or splashes will not damage the radio.

Will the fixed antenna and 4.5 in height fit on a standard belt clip?

Each unit measures 4.5 in high, 2.2 in wide and 1.6 in deep, and the pack includes swivel carry holsters that accept the fixed antenna.
