Six-pack for team coordination

This bundle supplies six Motorola RMV2080 radios so crews can communicate instantly across a site. Each unit operates on 27 VHF frequencies with 219 PL/DPL codes, six of which are customizable. The radios are built for environments up to 10 floors or 220,000 square feet. A 1500 mW speaker delivers clear audio in noisy conditions.

Capacity and headroom

Sixteen pre-recorded channel announcements let users switch groups such as security or maintenance without looking at the display. The 219 codes provide ample privacy options for separating conversations. Coverage reaches its limit beyond the stated 10-floor or 220,000 square foot range, and only six codes can be tailored to specific needs.

Build quality and daily use

A holster, lithium-ion battery, power supply and drop-in tray charger are included with every radio. The charger allows quick dock-and-go recharging between shifts. Holsters keep units secure on belts during active work. The bundle adds a microphone cleaner spray for ongoing maintenance.

Questions about this item

Will the RMV2080 radios on 27 VHF frequencies work with my older VHF handsets that use PL/DPL codes?

Yes, the RMV2080 operates on 27 VHF frequencies and supports 219 PL/DPL codes, so it can interoperate with legacy VHF radios programmed to matching tones.

How can I confirm each RMV2080 is transmitting clearly across a 10-floor site after setup?

Use the built-in 1500 MW speaker to monitor audio at the farthest floor; customised channel announcements also confirm the active channel without removing the radio.

What comes in the 6-pack box and what must I purchase separately?

The bundle includes six RMV2080 radios, each with a lithium-ion battery, drop-in tray charger, holster and power supply; no additional items are required for basic operation.
