Universal tablet floor stand for public spaces

The Mount-It MI-3870B is a black floor stand designed to hold tablets from 7.9 to 11 inches in screen size. It suits retail, hospitality and office environments where the device must remain accessible yet secure. The pole height adjusts from 31.1 to 46.85 inches to accommodate standing adults or seated children.

Anti-theft hardware and cable routing

A lockable clamp with an anti-theft screw secures the tablet against removal, while the head tilts and rotates for flexible viewing angles. The base measures 8.6 by 11.8 inches and can be bolted to the floor for added stability. A charging cable can be routed internally through the pole to keep the area tidy.

Compatibility and installation checks

Verify your tablet’s width does not exceed 7.125 inches and its height does not exceed 9.68 inches before ordering. Ensure the floor surface permits drilling if you intend to bolt the base down. Confirm the height range of 31 to 46.8 inches matches the intended user height and sight lines.

Questions about this item

How do I replace the anti-theft screw if the key is lost?

The anti-theft screw uses a proprietary keyed design. Contact the manufacturer for a replacement key or screw kit matched to the MI-3870B lock cylinder.

Will the clamp mechanism loosen if the tablet is tilted daily at the 46.85" height?

The clamp adjusts up to 7.125" wide and 9.68" high with a locking knob. Under daily tilt cycles at full extension, check the knob torque weekly and retighten if play develops.

Does the pole run warm when a tablet charges inside it all day?

The pole is a passive aluminium tube with an internal cable channel. It has no electronics, so it does not generate heat; the tablet's own charger may feel warm at the base.
