Clear Chair Mat for Carpet

The Mount-It MI-7817 is a transparent floor protector designed for carpeted surfaces in home offices, workplaces or bedrooms. It provides a smooth rolling surface so that an office chair moves freely without snagging or damaging the carpet fibres beneath.

Studded Grip and Daily Use

Moulded studs on the underside anchor the mat to the carpet pile, preventing it from shifting as the chair rolls back and forth. The clear material lets the flooring show through, so the mat blends into the room while still shielding the carpet from wear, indentations and caster marks.

Size Limits and Carpet Depth

The mat measures 47 by 35.5 inches, defining the maximum protected zone for a single workstation. Thicker or high-pile carpets may reduce stud grip, so the mat is best suited to low or medium pile surfaces where the studs can engage securely.
