Universal Rod Adapter for Camera Rigs

The Movo CAB1000 is a modular clamp that locks onto standard 15mm rods. It provides multiple 1/4" and 3/8" threads so users can attach cameras, monitors or recorders to a rig.

Bundled Screwdriver Simplifies Assembly

Each two-pack includes a dedicated screwdriver for tightening the clamp and mounted accessories. This removes the need to carry a separate tool when building or adjusting a setup on location.

Verify Rod Diameter and Thread Requirements

Confirm your rig uses 15mm rods before ordering. The adapter offers nine total threads — one 1/4" male, one 3/8" male, four 1/4" female and four 3/8" female — so check that your devices match these thread types.

Questions about this item

What maintenance or replacement will the 15mm rod clamp adapters need later?

The anodized aluminium construction resists corrosion so no scheduled maintenance is required; only replace a clamp if physical damage occurs.

What limit shows up first under sustained use of the rod clamp adapters?

The clamping force on 15mm rods is the practical limit; over-tightening can strip threads, so use the included screwdriver for firm but controlled adjustment.

How much noise, heat or power do the rod clamp adapters produce when used all day?

As passive metal hardware they generate no noise, no heat and draw no power during continuous operation.
